Looks like a great time! Reminds me (Steve) of a St. Patrick's Day celebration my wife (Lorrie) and I happened across one time in Bucerias Mexico....yes Mexico! Hey fellow Kansas folks question for you. We are headed down that way for a week aboard s/v La Palapa. Leaving from Tortola and ending up in Jost but can't decide which direction to head in between.....any suggestions? Would love a bit of blue water experience too, if possible, as we continue on our journey to leave the hard here in a few years ourselves.
There are a ton of options all around the BVI's. You could sail up to North Sound. It's lovely up there. I am not sure where you are chartering out of. You could sail around the west end of Tortola and up through the channel in between Tortola and Jost. We have sailing northeast of Jost and Guana and those islands a couple of different times. Many sail up to Anegada.
