Pictures from Georgetown SC and the Fire Damage
Riverfront undamaged by the fire
Looking back out the Sampit River from our anchorage near the recycling plant along the line of moored/anchored/abandoned boats.
Street view of the ruble from the fire.
Waterside view. So sad. But they were getting it cleared out when we were there so hopefully rebuilding will begin soon.
Kudzu's Bakery - fresh daily whole wheat bread to rival any grandmothers homemade bread - SOOO good.
Historic cannon....hey? What is that cannon taking aim on?
HEY! Not kewl Mr Cannon. That's s/v Honey Ryder!
.
Poor little sailboat in the foreground missing its mast is from Missouri. s/v Honey Ryder in the distance near historic Kaminski House.
There were certainly some interesting ways that boats were rafted up/crashed together in Georgetown.
Check out this interesting boat.

I love looking at different boats. Their owners are usually different as well.
