Check these out. Of course I guess it's better than a skinny piece of PVC sticking out of the water - like in some places or nothing at all. It just crackes me up.

Found this by accident - googling how to make a foredeck sail bag! Thought you'd like to know that the local sailors have managed to get the barrels removed & replaced with temporary white plastic buoys (to avoid someone doing themselves an injury, especially in the dark!) There will be permanent marine buoys with lights in place by next season......so they tell us!
