Being Eaten Alive - Update
I am calling BS. I bought this stuff and tried it out the other night. I applied it and continued getting bitten badly. Thinking that I missed some spots, I sprayed myself again. Munch, munch, munch went the mosquitos and no-see-ems. I applied a third application in my hands so I could completely cover myself. This acted as dessert for this vicious enemy or as in France as the cheese course as I look like freaking Swiss cheese with all my bites. Therefore I am calling BS big time!!! Don't waste your $$.

Sabrina, We are truly enjoying your blog. It brings back memories...
ReplyDeleteLoved your consumer reports on bug spray - thought you might enjoy more calls for truth on that topic: http://www.snopes.com/oldwives/skeeters.asp
ReplyDeleteSo the answer is DEET, loose clothing (not loose women, Tom), and avoid bananas till your away from shore. Actually I think your answer is simply - Away from shore.
So sorry about my recommendation for this -- this stuff worked well for me in Belize. I guess the Georgia mosquitoes and no-see-ums have different tastes. Bummer. :-(
ReplyDeleteNo worries. I think this may have been the posting on FB that got me a 30 day "blocked". Pic is from the Intenet and I wonder if the use of the pic ( for artistic purposes of course) and my report of it not working. Perhaps the co filed a complaint with FB.
DeleteHmmm, I guess it's possible, but the post was on YOUR blog, NOT on Facebook itself, so I don't really think they'd block you for that. I still think it's from posting mostly just links instead of actual "status updates" (by Facebook's definition). I have posted many links over time, but I always introduce them with a bit of text first, and that may help, instead of just posting the link "naked".
