Departing KC For Our New LIfe - June 1 2013

We are finally moving out of Limbo Land and hitting the road for s/v Honey Ryder.  Woo Hoo!

I think sailing sista Christie of s/v Hello World put it best in her congratulations for getting the heck out of town text as we rolled out of town..."It's a strange feeling isn't it?  You know it's a huge, but it feels like a normal day."  She is spot on!
So now we are on our way to s/v Honey Ryder but we are taking the long way so we can see some realitves on the way.....well not really on the way since we headed west out of KC and s/v Honey Ryder is southest out of KC (just a tad- ha).  We stopped to see family in Manhattan or Manhappiness as we like to call it.  K-State is still the best looking campus in all the Big 12.  Then we hit the road for SW Kansas where my parents live.  We are going to hang with the parental units for some days and then head towards s/v Honey Ryder.  We may do some sight seeing along the way so stay tuned.

  3. What, pray tell, is happening with S/V Riot as you journey? (I am looking for a McVay Minuet.)

    Fair winds!

  4. I love it! Go for it guys, life is so short and sweet! I love brave souls who venture into the unknown and follow their hearts. Have fun, prayers are with you guys always, and have a flippin' blast. Something to sit around and talk about in the later decades. All the best! Love, Carol & Olivia

P.S. Marjorie Cowan was my mom's, Carolyn West's first name that she never used and her maiden surname. I just wanted to see it more so I put them together but it's cousin Carol! And mom would love hearing about what you guys are doing, mom and Ken for that fact. X0x0
