Okay, blog Warning might be a bit strong.  Perhaps Blog Disclosure is better.

As we start our third season cruising, I thought it would be helpful to remind you all of something very important.  We are not professionals.  AND we haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn for ages.  HA!

What you read on this blog comes from our experiences.  This should not be misconstrued as advice.  It is NOT!!  We are just sharing.  Sometimes it's things we see and do (or don't do).  Other times, it's things we have learned, observed, concluded and or surmised.  The thoughts that come from our adventures are just that, our thoughts - nothing more.

Fair winds and following seas

A weather window has opened and the first wave of cruisers are departing Trinidad.  Some we know we will see again.  Others?  Who knows.  But as we hug good-bye, we tell each other we will see each other again....somehow, somewhere over the horizon.  Cruisers are a nomadic group so chances are high that we will.

A brand new cockpit table.

Handmade by my wonderful husband Cap10 Tom and our good friend Kevin Haefner.   I am SO proud of Tom.  It's lovely.  Big thank you to Kevin.

Isn't it spectacular?!   We eat nearly every meal in the cockpit and spend most of our time there so it's pretty exciting to have a proper cockpit table.  Our old one just wasn't cutting it any more.

Thanks to John and Carlisle on Caliber sv Tasman for the idea of the table leaf.  This allows four people to dine comfortably and the galley wench can still slide below to dish up seconds.  Brilliant, right?!
