Cruising Life - Everyday Is Different

 

And you just never know what the day is going to bring.  That is one of the reasons I love this life so much.  It's unpredictable.

Take today for example.  We have been thinking about moving on down the coast of Guadeloupe.  Weather drives everything so we have been checking various weather resources.  Hum?  Looks ok.  Should we got?  Hey, sv Second Spray just headed out.  Hum?  Then our VHF radio rang - yes rang.  Remember?  DSC calling is the only way to hail frequently hailed buddies.  It was sv Endorfin II.  "Whatcha guys up to?" they asked.  I said we were trying to decide if we should leave.  "We just talked to sv Second Spray.  They say there isn't much wind out there yet.  We were thinking of sticking around today if you are and maybe take the bus to Point a Pitre."  BOOM!  Just like that our day changed.  Bus?  Hell ya!  I got as excited as a yellow lab and now we are going exploring via bus with sv Endorfin II.  You just never know what the day will bring when you are cruising.
